This is a continuation of the story, "How Lucky Saved Elizabeth...Again". This story is called, "Elizabeth and Emily's Argument".
Elizabeth and Lucky were finally out of the hospital and feeling much better. They had a week of rest and although Elizabeth still felt tired sometimes more easily, she didn't feel tired at all today. So Elizabeth decided that she would go and surprise Emily.
Elizabeth rang the doorbell of the Quartermaine Mansion.
It was Reginald's day off, so Monica answered the door. Monica is Emily's adopted Mom and she is a doctor at GH.
"Hello, Elizabeth! How are you feeling?" Monica asked cheerfully.
"I'm doing fine. I'm not as tired today." replied Elizabeth.
"Well, thats good." said Monica.
"Is Emily home? I thought I'd go and surprise her." asked Elizabeth.
"Yes she is." She's in her room. You can go on up." "She'd love to see you!" exclaimed Monica.
So Elizabeth went upstairs to Emily's room.
Meanwhile at Nikolas Cassadines cottage, Lucky was visiting his half brother.
"How are you feeling today?" asked Nikolas.
"I'm feeling much better. And so is Elizabeth. She isn't as tired today." explained Lucky.
"That's good to hear." said Nikolas.
"Yes." agreed Gia Campbell. She was now Nikolas' girlfriend and she lived in the cottage with him, although she still hasn't paid him rent.
"You actually sound glad that Elizabeth is feeling better." said Nikolas.
"Yes. Why? Is that a crime?" asked Gia.
"No. It's just that you don't get along with Elizabeth very well." replied Nikolas.
"Well, Elizabeth and I have decided to try and put our differences aside for your sake." explained Gia.
"Well, I'm glad to hear that." said Nikolas.
Elizabeth slowly crept up the stairs towards Emily's room, so that she wouldn't hear her coming.
As soon as she got to Emily's room, she knocked on the door.
"Come on in." Emily said without looking up from the book that she was reading.
Elizabeth walked over to the foot of Emily's bed.
"Hi Emily!" exclaimed Elizabeth.
"Elizabeth!" exclaimed Emily, with a major smile on her face. She got up and dropped her book onto the floor. She went over to Elizabeth and began to hug her, but then she backed away.
"You know, I'm not gonna bite." Elizabeth joked.
"No. It's not that". Emily said, with a giggle in her voice. "It's....just...how are you feeling?" "I don't want to make things worse." explained Emily.
"I'm fine." "And besides you're my best friend. How could you make things worse?" said Elizabeth.
Emily and Elizabeth hugged again.
"I'm so glad that you are better!" exclaimed Emily.
"I'm glad that I'm better too." Elizabeth agreed.
"So, how is everything going with you and Zander?" asked Elizabeth.
"Fine. My Mom and Dad agreed I could still see Zander with their permission." explained Emily.
"Don't you think that you spend awful lot of time with Zander?" Shouldn't you spend some time with your friends?" asked Elizabeth.
"Sure. But I love him and he loves me." replied Emily.
"Besides, look at all the time you spend with Lucky." noted Emily.
"But Lucky and I are getting married." said Elizabeth.
"So? Thats no excuse for ignoring your friends." Emily said coldly.
"Me?! I haven't been ignoring my friends. You're the one who has been ignoring her friends!" "Miss I-Dont-Care-If-My-Best-Friend-Is-Dying-Quartermaine." said Elizabeth, with an angry look on her face.
"What's that supposed mean?" asked Emily, sounding hostile.
"You know very well what I mean!" Elizabeth said, yelling, crossing her arms.
"Don't yell at me!" shouted Emily.
Don't yell at ME!" shouted Elizabeth.
"I'm not yelling at you!" "You're the one who is yelling at me!" shouted Elizabeth
"I wasn't yelling, I only yell at people who aren't my friends!" said Emily, very angrily.
"Oh, so I'm not your friend is that it?!" "Well then fine! Have that way!" "I don't need you or your friendship!" said Elizabeth furiously.
Monica heard the yelling from downstairs. She went upstairs to Emily's room to see what all the yelling was about.
"What is going on here?" asked Monica.
"Nothing!" shouted Elizabeth.
And with that, she stormed out of the room and slammed the door.
She stomped down the stairs.
"Hello Elizabeth". said Lila.
Elizabeth stormed past her, not even giving her a glance. She slammed the door as she left.
